Recruitment Administrator, Sunderland (Head Office)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £15,000 per annum

Role Summary:

To work as part of the recruitment team to provide a comprehensive, professional recruitment service throughout the organisation. Providing an efficient administrative service within the department.

Core Performance Areas:

  • Liaising with agencies regarding administration and sales positions
  • Liaise with regional, store and warehouse managers regarding vacancies and requirements
  • Arranges interviews and compiles relevant paperwork
  • Liaise with Job Centre (administration, cleaner & warehouse positions)
  • Sift candidate applications
  • Uses websites to proactively attract candidates to ScS
  • Taking calls from potential applicants, assisting with enquiries
  • Updates vacancy list
  • Completes Job Offer paperwork
  • Updates the database system- application status and recruitment process
  • Administrative duties (to include applicant letters, interview schedule etc)
  • Ensures good levels of communication within the division
  • Undertakes, as required, other duties in keeping with the general nature of the position

Personal Qualities:

  • Previous administrative experience is essential
  • Experience within a recruitment environment would be desirable
  • Good organisational skills and attentive to detail
  • Maintains a consistently smart and professional image
  • Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strives to achieve consistently high levels of customer service
  • Illustrates the ability to effectively contribute in a team environment
  • Ability to build strong effective working relationships
  • IT literacy is essential, able to effectively use MS Excel and MS Word as well as some experience of using a database system
